Being content in one's relationships and productive at work are keys to personal fulfillment. I enjoy helping others move forward in their journey of life skills acquisition and personal growth. I value offering clients the opportunity to look at and understand their current challenges within the context of their unique developmental history. I also employ other evidence based treatment approaches to help my clients try out alternate and healthier ways of self expression and engagement with others.
I may utilize hypnosis, eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and/or cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT) in an integrative approach to the treatment of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, extended grief reactions, reactions to stressful life events, and academic/work productivity issues.
I also work with couples, teens and adults experiencing challenges involving cross-cultural, LGBT or acculturation issues.”
